Our coffee filters are specially designed to fit perfectly in your filter holder. Simply fold over the double seams to prevent slipping during brewing. This also ensures an even water flow through the coffee grounds, leading to optimal extraction of flavors.

Melitta® coffee filters are made from high-quality, flavor-neutral paper that effectively holds back unwanted particles and oils. This preserves the full taste of your coffee while reducing bitterness. So you enjoy not only aromatic filter coffee, but also consistently high quality in every cup.

Our coffee filters are available in natural brown and white: a difference you can see, but not taste, because both types of filter paper have exactly the same properties. The only difference: natural brown filters are made from unbleached pulp, while white filters are made from bleached pulp. Of course, all our coffee filters are compostable.

As an FSC-certified company, we produce Melitta® coffee filters according to FSC standards. The FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental organization that aims to improve forest management worldwide. Products with the FSC label ensure forests are managed in line with the social, economic, and ecological needs of current and future generations. With Melitta® coffee filters, we actively contribute to responsible forestry.

We care not only about coffee enjoyment, but also about protecting our environment. Our coffee filters are made exclusively from paper sourced from responsible forestry in Europe. We also make sure not to waste any paper during production. This way, you can enjoy your filter coffee with peace of mind.

Our Original coffee filters come in sizes 1 (for round filters), 100 (for our Melitta® Aromaboy®), 102® (also fits 1x2®), 1x4®, and 1x6® (for manual coffee brewing). The Blue Angel is an independent environmental label that helps consumers easily recognize and choose eco-friendly, sustainable products. It promotes resource conservation and reduction of pollutants. Brown filter papers with the Blue Angel label are produced without bleaching processes and must meet strict requirements for wastewater treatment. We also use only fibers from sustainable sources. Together, we can make a positive impact on the environment and help create a more sustainable future.
